GATEKEEPER’S MUSEUM WEDDING

Cassie and Derek’s Lake Tahoe wedding was a beautiful, rustic style celebration infused with meaningful details and gorgeous backdrop of the lake. The couple invited their guests to join them for the ceremony and reception in Gatekeeper’s Museum, very cozy Lake Tahoe wedding venue located right on the west shore. The setting was defined by the neutral color palette and punctuated with plenty of wood elements that bride and groom loves so much!
When Cassie showed me her chic Rue de Seine wedding dress, I wanted to jump up and down. This striking, deep plunge V-neckline and low back bohemian gown looked absolutely stunning on her and could have not been more coherent with the wedding atmosphere.
In the mean time Derek completed his look with tan leather suspenders, matching belt and shoes, and green floral boutonnière designed by Helianthus Floral Design. Now multiply this look by twelve and this is how many groomsmen Derek had! I must say they all looked very GQ in the groomsmen photos.
Bridesmaids wore white floor-length dresses from Show Me Your Mumu. The gowns’ v-neck necklines suited well with the bride’s plunging one. “I wanted a neutral color palette and loved the idea of everyone being in white!” the bride says.
For dessert, the couple chose a WALL of DOUGHNUTS! The most brilliant idea because who these days says no to “donut”?
The festivities followed by the most romantic first dance in the sunset light (ahh how I love natural light!) and lively reception, one they will not soon forget.
